Yikes. This is some dark subject matter for such a youngin'
That just goes to show that are wise way beyond your years, right?
This is absolutely beautiful.
The way the melody mirrors the flute thing but is not the exact same every time, but it is, but it isn't. I like that. You have an amazing voice and the delivery is perfect for Zed's backdrop.
Great great great. Keep the tunes coming... please.

Cool music 8-) (Cool) I am definitely impressed with the vocals, seeing as the vocalist is only 7 years old Wow! Very nice, wow Nodding I can't wait to hear your voice when you're an adult, you will blow every other female singer out of the water Nodding And yes, I agree, kinda dark lyrics for a youngin', but that adds to the effect the song is giving you, really nice Singing

Excellent! a childs voice on that kind of music is just a really great effect. Keep this singing up and you sure will become something great. i'd say turn the music volume up a notch or two and give her vocals a touch of reverb, just to get it to fit with the music better or something. Thumbs Up

"I only sung on it"- gotta love it! Talent and a level head is a great combination. I have a feeling you're going to do very well in the world.
I'm sure you realize, though, that it just wouldn't be the same song without your vocals. I see some other folks have commented on how much your delivery lent to your father's already-awfully-powerful lyrics, so I'll leave it at that. VERY nicely done.

The music is really quite striking. The sparseness of the instrumentation beautifully matches the emotional and physical dislocation of the lyrics.

It's also great that as this is a song about the plight of aborigines, you've approximated their own music, but not copied it. You guys have put your own spin on it, and that in itself feels like the emotionally brave and mature acceptance that are only able to approximate how it must really feel to be treated like an outsider in your own land and to have suffered so many years of brutality and heartache.

Kristen really does a great job and it's very impressive to hear Kristen perform her Dad's excellent lyrics so sympathetically. The innocence of her voice really makes the pain and isolation of the lyrics that much sharper. But I hope there are times in the future where we get to her some of Kristen's own lyrics, too.

I'm very impressed with this; the musical and emotionally maturity of Zed and Steven and the innocence and burgeoning talent of Kristen had combined to create something very worthwhile indeed.

Beautiful voice and simple instrumentation .
In our synthetic times we easily forget how uncomplicated yet beautiful music can be.
Thx very much!

Whoa, she has a great resonance in her voice and carries a tune quite well.
It has a 'The Gods Must Be Crazy' ambience.

First off, Zed's backing track is giving me these thoughts of Apocalypse Now and that kind of thing. Kristen, You are a diamond in the rough, great job of doubling that recorder, which has this Pied Piper quality to it....and that is what I'm getting here, just an enchanting yet tragic lullaby/fable. Cool

Working with you on this song must be one of the best times I've ever had making music. Trying to keep you focussed was a big challenge and you really have a great ability of sing with such innocence but sincere emotion, then the next second poke out your tongue and be really silly like any 7 year old I guess....lol
I can't wait to get our new song up when its done. Beautiful girl!!!!
